    Our lead coaches are responsible for designing and delivering the club's training plan. They are supported by Leaders In Running Fitness.
    • Nick Anderson

      Club Coach
      Nick has over 25 years coaching experience at all levels and has been a runner since age 10. Nick is a graduate in Science & Management of Health & Fitness, a UKA level 4 endurance coach, a qualified nutritionist and sports therapy practitioner. Nick has been a England Athletics flying coach & manages GB squads for events such as the World Half Marathon Championships. Having coached hundreds of athletes from beginners through to olympians Nick is one of Europe's most highly respected coaches. Nick is former England Marathon Lead and England Regional Coaching Lead for the South.
    • Andy Parkinson

      Club Coach
      Andy brings over 27 years of coaching experience from a variety of sports. He has an MSc in Sport & Exercise Psychology and gained accreditation as a BASES Sport and Exercise Scientist. Working with athletes across a wide range of abilities and experience, from club level to Para-Olympics, Andy has helped them manage the mental aspects of their performance. He understands the challenges athletes face balancing training and performance with other commitments. He is an active competitive runner in his own right, running all distances from 5k to the marathon. Andy is a level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach and UKA Endurance Group coach.
