Description
The Boaz Project is a farm based charity located just outside Winchester (on the A272) which delivers day provision for adults with learning disabilities. Our members come along to Hill Farm 4 times a week to take part in horticultural work, craft, woodworking and cookery. As part of our friend and fundraising, we have hosted a 5 and 10km trail run around the private farmland the charity sits within for a number of years.
A chip timed event, with all participants receiving a medal. Races start at 1pm.
Part of a family fun day including live music (one of the bands is Rubkis Cube – The Osborne School pupil band), hot food, ice creams, barista coffees from our charity partner – River Coffee, games for the children, a silent disco and if the weather allows, a colour run obstacle course.
A nice, challenging run for the runners in the family, but an entertaining day out for everyone else.
