We now have 117 runners who have associated their parkrun ID with our club and on a busy weekend for racing elsewhere there were 21 of those out and about contesting 9 different Parkrun events this past weekend….all in England this week.
This weeks highlights included:
- Winchester Parkrun was again cancelled due to weather so Southampton ended up being our most popular event with 7 of us there
- Paul Gaimster was 3rd finisher at Southampton in 17’11 so improving his own WRC age cat record
- Martyn West was one of 7 at Ganger Farm and with 23’35 has also nabbed a WRC age cat record
- Top tourist was Andy Costello flying the flag at Roundhay Parkrun up in Leeds
