111 runners have now associated their parkrun ID with our club and of those 19 spread themselves far and wide to take part in 13 different Parkrun events in 5 different countries around Europe this past weekend….no doubt there’s keen interest in this week’s Top Tourist award.
This weeks highlights included:
- Alex Lane first female finisher at Poole in a new ladies club record of 17’16
- Paul Gaimster first finisher at Southwick Country Park in a new age cat record of 18’04
- Matt Grote first finisher at Ganger Farm
- Ganger Farm was again our most popular venue (Winchester cx’d) with 3 of our runners there but we were generally well spread around with 2 runners at Cardiff, Southampton, Poole and Zuiderpark
- Top tourist award is again the irrepressible Ian J Berry-Bowers, this time flying the WRC flag at Caffarella parkrun, Rome, Italy
