Race 6 of 12 in the Hampshire Road Race League 2026/27 season, organised by Ryde Harriers on the Isle of Wight. The league has confirmed the date as Sunday 7 February 2027.

A 10 mile road race starting at 11:00am from The Ryde Castle, mid-way along Ryde Esplanade opposite Ryde Harbour and Eastern Gardens, PO33 1JA.

2027 entry fees have not yet been published. For reference, the 2026 edition was £20 affiliated and £23 unaffiliated plus a booking fee. Entries have opened in early October in recent years and close at 11:59pm on 31 January — there are no entries on the day and the race is expected to sell out.

Factor in the ferry: this is the one league fixture that needs a crossing, so book travel early and check the club WhatsApp group for car and ticket sharing. You enter this race directly with the organising club — Winchester Running Club does not book places. Mark yourself as attending here so we know who is racing, and wear your club vest: results count towards the league and the club Grand Prix.
