About this event

Our own monthly handicap race, on the first Thursday of the month, in place of the senior training session. Free, and open to anyone who wants a go.

The slowest runners start first and the fastest start last, so in theory everybody finishes together and anyone can win. It is the friendliest racing we do, and a good first race if you have never pinned a number on.

Meet at the bus stop on Stoney Lane. Park in St Matthews Road or Vernham Road rather than on Stoney Lane itself. If it is your first one, come a few minutes early so we can work out your handicap.

Juniors train at Gaterfield as usual on handicap evenings.
