A scenic trail run through Hambledon Vineyard, England's oldest commercial vineyard, followed by an afternoon of food and drink at race HQ. In aid of Brain Tumour Research and Hambledon Primary School.
Distances and start times
- Trail 20km — 9.30am, £20.00. Self-sufficient and self-navigated, with sparse course markings, marshals only at busy road crossings and a mandatory kit list to be confirmed nearer the day.
- 1km — 9.35am, £5.00. Footpaths and trails within the estate; children may be accompanied by an adult at no extra cost.
- 2km — 9.50am, £5.00. As above.
- 10km — 10.30am, £18.00. Quiet lanes, trails and Hambledon village, with a water station halfway.
- 5km — 10.45am, £13.00. Quiet lanes, trails and Hambledon village, finishing on the estate.
On the day
- Race numbers collected from 8.30am at race HQ — the big white marquee behind the Vineyard Restaurant.
- All races chip timed, with a memento for every runner and trophies for the first three men and women (boys and girls in the 1km and 2km).
- Prize giving at 10.15am for the 1km and 2km, and 12.00pm for the adult races.
- Optional event t-shirt, £10.00, available during entry.
- Food, drink and the vineyard's award-winning sparkling wine served at race HQ through the afternoon.
