About this event
The county championships at Fairthorne Manor on Saturday 6 January 2024, on a course left saturated by Storm Henk — and Winchester Running Club's first appearance at them, in the new red, white and black vests.
The club won eight titles on its debut: team golds for the senior women, the Under 17 men and the Under 15 boys, and individual titles for Helen Hall (senior and over-35 women), Tamsin Anderson (over-45 women), Will Atkins (Under 17 men) and Ethan Skipwith (Under 15 boys). The veteran women took silver. The Under 15 boys filled the first three places.
No official results were ever published for this fixture; the positions recorded here come from the club's own race report by Jeremy Wilson, which is why there are no times.
