SUMMARY:CC6 Itchen Valley
DESCRIPTION:Eastleigh\, Hedge End and Itchen Spitfires look forward to welc
 oming you all to the final CC6 of\nthe season\, to be held at Itchen Valle
 y Country Park\, SO30 3HQ on Sunday 10th March 2024.\nStart time 9:30am.\n
 \nThe route is one large lap and one medium lap and comes in at around 4.7
  miles. The trails are\nmainly grass\, gravel path and woodland path and t
 rail shoes are highly recommended. There are\na number of rabbit holes and
  tree roots around the course\, as well as the odd puddle and patch\nof mu
 d so please be careful. The park is open to the public and we do not have 
 exclusive use.\nTherefore\, please be aware of the potential for non-runne
 rs on the paths we are using. The route\nwill be well marshalled\, with al
 l turns being manned and tape will be used to mark the way in-\nbetween ma
 rshal points. Please note that as well as the tail runners\, there will be
  several\nmarshals running amongst the back of the field ensuring no runne
 rs feel isolated. We have been\nasked to remind runners that headphones sh
 ould not be worn during the race.\n\nThere is plenty of parking at the cou
 ntry park but please be aware that you need to pay for\nparking. Payment m
 achines are available in all car parks and accept cash\, credit card or ca
 n\nbe paid for using the Ringo App. The Ringo number for this is 4910\, we
  suggest downloading the\napp in advance. All car parks are to be used\, w
 e will cone off any spaces that are reserved.\nPlease follow marshal instr
 uctions and be patient as cars may stack up. This doesn’t mean the\ncar 
 parks are full\, just that some of them are quite small and it takes a bit
  longer to manoeuvre\ninto the spaces. There is strictly NO parking on the
  verges and NO parking on the road outside\nthe country park. IVCP are ver
 y supportive of CC6 and RR10 but upsetting the local residents\ncould jeop
 ardise this support and future events. Please car share where possible to 
 reduce the\nnumber of vehicles. There is also bicycle lockup facilities ne
 ar Go Ape. The start and finish are in\nthe main field next to Go Ape. Thi
 s is the same field used for Itchen Valley Parkrun. You will pass\nthe caf
 e on your left\, then carry straight on to the main field. Water and cakes
  will be available at\nthe finish\, but please bring your own cups and ple
 ase take away your litter. There are ongoing\nworks at the park and the to
 ilets are currently situated in the portaloos across from the café. The\n
 café will be open from 10:00 for post-race refreshments. Club tents can b
 e located in the Start /\nFinish field.\n\nHave a great run!
