There was, of course, an extra Parkrun in the period – on Christmas Day itself – but unfortunately, we only have abbreviated results available for that one…….a new attendance record of 537 participants at Winchester, of which 23 were proud to associate themselves with our club.
More normal reporting is available for the parkruns on 30th Dec when we had 20 WRC athletes taking part in 8 different Parkruns. Highlights included:
- Paul Gaimster first finisher up at the Halifax event
- Magnus Gregory first finisher at Itchen Valley
- 8 Winruns athletes taking part in our home event, Winchester, including Paul Horler completing his 100th parkrun
- Paul Gaimster was also our top tourist….Halifax is a long way up North
